FAQ

In its simplest form, chiropractic is finding stress within the spine, which causes interference within the nervous system, and removing the stress using a chiropractic adjustment to allow the nervous system to operate with less interference.
When performed by a licensed and trained chiropractor, chiropractic care is generally considered very safe. However, as with anything, there may be risks and contraindications. The use of tools such as X-rays can limit the risk of an adjustment.
Chiropractic adjustments are typically not painful. Patients may feel some discomfort or pressure during the adjustment, but it is usually mild. Many people experience relief and improved mobility after the adjustment.
Yes, we X-ray everyone in this office, with the exception of younger children and pregnant women. X-rays ensure there are no underlying issues that would make it unsafe to adjust you, and they help us identify the areas of stress within the spine so we can develop an appropriate treatment plan.
We accept some insurance. At this time, we accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Healthcare Highways, HealthChoice, Aetna, Ambetter and Medicare. If you do not have insurance, no problem; we love cash-based patients as well!
